What you'll do tonight

  1. Three-minute map first. Read the title, then the first and last sentence of each paragraph, and write two or three words beside each one. Only then start the questions.
  2. Twenty-five minutes for all thirteen questions, one sitting.
  3. Questions 10 and 11 want YES / NO / NOT GIVEN. Write those words, not TRUE and FALSE.
  4. Reflect and submit.

Next session you sit the full paper: three sections, forty questions, sixty minutes, marked on the GT scale. Sleep, eat, and bring a watch you can see without turning your wrist.

Answer all four: (1) Score out of 13, and did you finish in twenty-five minutes? (2) Did you actually make the paragraph map, and did it help? Be honest. (3) Did you write TRUE or FALSE anywhere in questions 10–11? (4) On the mock next session, what is your plan for the moment you notice you are behind schedule?
