How this course works
Each weekday session has a handout page you'll work through in class, and a homework page to complete before the next session. Online students follow the same pages live; in-person students follow along on phone or laptop. Submit homework by email at the end of each day.
Modules
Listening
Spelling, numbers, paraphrase, maps, lectures, and signposting. Builds toward full practice tests by Day 5.
Reading
Skimming, scanning, True/False/Not Given, matching headings, summary completion. Closes with a timed mock.
Writing
Academic Task 1 (data description) and Task 2 (essay). Live word-count drafting and a full mock test on Day 5.
Speaking
Parts 1, 2, and 3. The IDEAS technique for extending answers, cue-card practice, and Part 3 discussion strategies.
Practice tools
Reproduce exam conditions any time you practise. Record answers on a numbered sheet, then download or print your completed form.
What to expect each day
- Open the handout for that day before class. Bring a laptop or phone โ paper is optional.
- Work through the timed blocks with the instructor. Each session is broken into ๐ segments matching the in-class plan.
- Reveal answers at the end of each exercise. Use the toggles, don't peek early.
- Do the homework the same evening while material is fresh. Submit by email using the button at the bottom of each homework page.
