What you'll do tonight
- Twenty minutes, one sitting, twelve questions.
- As you read, physically mark every condition, exception and threshold — every after twelve months, within six months, at least forty-eight hours. Then check afterwards: how many of the twelve questions turned on something you had marked?
- Write your reflection and submit.
Questions 1–3 and 8 are one family
All four turn on a time threshold. If you got three of them right and one wrong, you do not have a comprehension problem — you have a reading speed problem, and the fix is to slow down for eight seconds on any sentence containing a number of months.

Answer all three: (1) Score out of 12, and did you finish in twenty minutes? (2) How many of the twelve questions turned on a condition, exception or threshold you had marked while reading? (3) Choose one workplace word from tonight's text that was new to you, and write a sentence using it about your own work or studies.
