Rewrite the Weaker Task
What you'll do tonight
- Look at your two mock bands and pick the weaker task.
- Read the feedback on it properly — not the bands, the sentences underneath them.
- Rewrite it from scratch, timed. Not editing the old one: a fresh answer to the same prompt, with the specific weakness fixed.
- Get AI feedback on the rewrite and compare. Then submit both the rewrite and a short note on what changed.
Editing fixes the sentences you already wrote. Rewriting changes the decisions you made — the structure, the register, the order of the bullets, what you chose to develop. Those decisions are what the bands are actually measuring, and you cannot reach them by tidying.
This is the last homework of the module. Do it properly and you finish with something you can measure against Day 1.
