What you'll do tonight

  1. Set a timer for 15 minutes and do the drill below in one sitting. Do not pause it. Finishing on time matters more tonight than finishing perfectly.
  2. Mark it, then look at every wrong answer and decide which of four things went wrong:
    (a) I ran out of time · (b) I could not find it · (c) I found it but misread it · (d) I broke the word limit or wrote the wrong form.
  3. Write your reflection in the box below and submit by email.
Why the error category matters more than the score

A score tells you where you are. An error category tells you what to do on Thursday. Four "could not find it" errors means your scanning needs work; four "misread it" errors means you are scanning fine and rushing the decision. Those need opposite fixes.

Your reflection

Answer all three: (1) What was your score out of 12, and did you finish inside fifteen minutes? (2) For each question you got wrong, which of the four error categories was it — ran out of time, could not find it, found it but misread it, or wrong word form? (3) Which single category appeared most, and what will you do differently in the next session because of it?
